It’s turkey time at ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ! ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ’s on-campus food pantry, FUEL NKU, will host the sixth annual Friendsgiving Celebration on Monday, Nov. 20, 2023.
NKU is excited to announce the expansion of the athletic program introducing several new sports teams to the roster. NKU’s Board of Regents voted Wednesday to add women’s stunt, men’s and women’s swimming, men’s volleyball, and men’s and women’s triathlon teams. In addition, the Norse has already begun expanding the track and field and spirit programs.
“It’s widespread and globally prevalent, but it is largely accepted and ignored. I thought this was a great opportunity to start introducing students to what ageism is."
"At ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ, there is a sense of 'We appreciate who you are, we value your opinion and we’re going to give you our support.'"
“That’s what I’m trying to focus on: helping students realize the great opportunity they have before they make things harder for themselves."
“It means a lot because it gives recognition to the people who have paved the way through a more diverse culture, not only as a society but in our day-to-day activities."
